For our sixth cruise we returned once again to what seems to becoming our home on the sea, Azamara Journey, for a voyage that would take us from Singapore to Hong Kong via Bangkok, Thailand and a few ports of call in Vietnam. One of the wonderful features of this cruise for us was the opportunity to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary in picturesque Halong Bay, Vietnam.
We left Toronto on November 19 to fly the long trip to Singapore via Hong Kong to arrive in Singapore around midday of Thursday November 21 to begin a few days in this wonderful city before the cruise started. With the cruise finishing in Hong Kong it was also a great opportunity to extend our vacation with a few days to enjoy the "Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China" before heading home on Wednesday December 11.

For the fourth time in a row we sailed on Azamara Journey - one of three near identical ships owned and operated by Azamara.
It really has become so far our home on the seas. We first tried Azamara Journey in 2010 because we wanted to try a smaller ship after two cruises on larger vessels with Celebrity Cruises. We loved the experience on the smaller ship. It really did suit us better. When booking some of our subsequent cruises we had actually looked at some other cruise line options - but the combination of available itineraries and service that we knew and loved brought us back to booking again on Azamara Journey.
