Gary's work travels
Copper Smelting in the Copperbelt and North-Western Provinces

First visit to Solwezi, Zambia

Gary made his first trip to the under construction Kansanshi Copper Smelter located near Solwezi in the North-Western Province of Zambia in March with colleagues Sohail Samdani, Velimir Ljubibratic, Zane Jia & Jeff Gorven. The trip was intended to be for about one week of meetings but ended up being shortened to a few days. Gary & Sohail made a trip to Kitwe and Mufulira to do some business development while the others returned to Canada earlier than originally scheduled.

We aren't able to display any of the actual work-related photographs from this trip - so collected here is a video and a few photos from the things outside of the work aspect the time in Zambia.
